Small bells are attached to the inside of the hoop. of the two sizes, the larger one has diameter of 38 cm., the smaller one 20-22 cm. ئۇيغۇر چالغۇ ئاتالغۇلىرى Dap Dap，is a kind of percussion instrument which is developed from a drum．It has vigorous sound and it is light and easy to use．It is played by hitting with palm and fingers．It is a necessary instrument in Uighur or— The frame of Dap is made of grape wood．on its surface，the skin of horse or goat is used．Inside the frame many small iron rings are hung and when Dap is played (hit)they make burbling sound．There are many kinds of Dap such as’Neghma Dap’and the frame is 5．5 centimeters wide．Dap has one shortcoming． Its skin easily loosens and its sound would change as the weather Changes． Dap is an important instrument in Uighur orchestra．And it also acts as a conductor．It is played with two hands by holding it with two hands．It makes the sound，Dumtang，dumtang，．The sound’dum，is a high tempo and ’tang，is low sound． Dap was not only used in Uighur music but also used by some superstitious sorcerers in thelr so-called drive away the ghosts to cure illness’practices． ئۇيغۇر چالغۇ ئاتالغۇلىرى Dap It iS made with Circular，thin and narrow wooden frame．Then animal Skin iS StretChed and played With fingers．There are many metal ringS along the innerame．\ ئۇنىۋېرسال n.
