ئۇيغۇر چالغۇ ئاتالغۇلىرى Dolan Ghirjek The ancient Ghirjek is the most primitive form of Ghirjek and it is found in the areas of Dolan and Ku— mul．There are two kinds of it．They are Dolan Ghirjek and Kumul Ghijek． Dolan Ghirjek was the most ancient Ghijeek and it is the ancestor of all the Ghijek．Its head is made of the half Sphere wood of the mulberry tree．Its diameter iS abont 16 centimeterS．On itS surfaCe the Skin of goat and snakeisused．It has two main strings and over ten strings for echo．is about 80 centimeters long． It is puton the lap of left leg when played．it is played by pressing the tunes with left hand and strumming the strings with right hand with a bow．It has beautiful melodic sound．This kind of Ghirjek is usually found in the areas of Tarim Basin and thus called Dolan Ghirjek． It had spread widely to other areas of China before and in Chinese chronicles it was called Huqin Erhu and in some of the books of the Qing Dynasty it was also called Ghirjek． Its adjustments，strings：①②(3) (4)(5)…… tUneS： a1 d1 a g d．．．．．．
