(BrE) (also anymore AmE, BrE) adverb
often used at the end of negative sentences and at the end of questions, to mean 'any longer':
She doesn't live here any more. * Why doesn't he speak to me any more? * Next year she won't have to go out to work any more.
HELPNOTE Do not use 'no more' with this meaning: _S_h_e_ _d_o_e_s_n_'_t_ _l_i_v_e_ _h_e_r_e_ _n_o_ _m_o_r_e_.
